Meeting Topic
We will have two speakers from Pirelli Tire at the February Meeting.
Steve Carpino is the Director of R&D for Pirelli Tire North America. He is currently responsible for projects which include new product development for OE and aftermarket products, materials engineering, and indoor/outdoor tire testing. Steve will give an overview of the Pirelli MIRS tire manufacturing process and the product development process in Rome, GA.
Jeff Dinges is a Tire Test Engineer with the Research and Development department of Pirelli Tire North America. He is currently responsible for all North American tire testing and development for both aftermarket and original equipment projects. An overview of vehicle dynamics with respect to the tire and tire testing methods during the development process will be covered in his presentation.
