Meeting Topic
Each year we like to give the students in our section an opportunity to show off what they have been doing. There will be collegiate design competition teams from Georgia Tech, Auburn, Southern Polytechnic and new this year, Georgia Southern. They will be displaying cars, discussing results from last year and presenting plans for this year.

The SAE design competitions have grown tremendously over the years with events on every continent with a college. The level of competition is extremely intense and the teams have developed into very professional organizations. The graduates from the design teams have achieved tremendous success with the OEMs, suppliers and in racing.

This is always an exciting meeting that you don't want to miss. If you know of a high school student that is considering an engineering degree, please encourage them to attend the meeting.
