Meeting Topic

Do you like shows such as Monster Garage and Biker Build off? Come look at the cars that the SAE student design teams have been designing and constructing. Students will give presentations on their vehicles and their plans to beat the competition. The design teams are from Southern Polytechnic State University, Georgia Institute of Technology and Auburn University (including Auburn's Lady Tigers Mini Baja team). The Atlanta Section supports teams in the Formula SAE, Mini Baja, and Super Mileage competitions.

We'll also have a report on the highlights from the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair. We sent two judges from the Atlanta Section to pick out the top science fair projects in the mobility field. Prizes are awarded in both the junior and senior divisions.
