Meeting Topic
There will be two speakers for the December Meeting.
The first is Mason Ailstock from
The second speaker is Dave Porreca, Director of
Strategic Partnerships and Development from SAE International. Dave will
continue with SAE's role in partnering with the ICAR
project and what they will do with their new office in
The 400 acre Clemson U/Center for Automotive Research will
include an innovative graduate engineering program, and unique research and
testing facilities such as automotive electronics systems lab, crash-worthiness
lab, full scale wind tunnel and fuels lab with emphasis on hydrogen based
research.
Timken bearing, Michelin tire, BMW, IBM and Microsoft have
planned to add buildings to the campus as well.
